Lighten Up America

Have you heard about the Conan O'Brien controversy?  Yesterday, Conan tweeted a hysterical joke about the new Marvel Comics Muslim Superhero.  At the risk of offending an uptight white person, I won't repeat it.  Suffice to say, it was a joke.  And it was funny.

The uproar, however, speaks to a larger problem plaguing our society.  The wussification of America continues.  This politically correct, easily offended, self righteous pissing and moaning needs to stop.  It seems like every day, some interest group gets their panties in a bunch.  And everyone pretends to be a victim.

Which is why I'm starting a new grass roots movement called "Lighten The F@#$ Up America".  Here's how you can help.  The next time you hear someone complaining about how "insensitive" or "tasteless" a harmless joke is, please take a few minutes out of your busy day to send them an e-mail or message encouraging them to "lighten the f@#% up." By reminding the easily offended how incredibly offensive their complaining has become, you will be promoting a more tolerant, open minded society.  Thanks for your support.
