Lockwood Freshman Will Start Early

When Lockwood voters approved a $49.9 million bond for a new school, it was initially planned to open the high school for freshman in 2020. On Monday night the school trustees voted unanimously to open a freshman academy next school year. The district is looking at opening a freshman academy in an auxiliary building that would be ready for the 2019-2020 school year.
