According to a story in the Billings Gazette, the former Lou Talbert building at the corner of 2nd Ave and Broadway downtown has been sold to investors. Price and buyer undisclosed. It has been a long time since I stepped into the building. I'm not much of a Western guy, so I really had no reason to visit. Today, I wandered down to peek in the windows.

According to the property listing on the Coldwell Banker website:

With an extensive exterior remodel coming 2020, this popular corner and
building will bring energy and focus to the best intersection downtown Billings. Main floor corner space can be as small as 2,000 sqft up to 7,000 sqft. Shared restrooms, street patio and rooftop patio available, along with second floor balcony, updated lighting and vegetation. This corner will regain and reignite its presence in downtown.

I agree. This is absolutely a premium location in the heart of Downtown. I can't wait to see what the investors plan to do with the building. It's funny when I was taking these pictures, an older lady who lives in a downtown condo nearby said to me, "I hope you buy it and make something nice out of it." I wish, lady. My pockets aren't deep enough.

What kind of store(s) or business would you like to see there? Let us know in the Comments.
