Happy Cinco De Mayo from your hombres here at the Hawk.  Admittedly, we're all a bunch of gringos.  In fact, aside from ordering a cerveza in Mexico, the only Spanish phrase I know is "donde esta la verde mota?"

To celebrate our hard rockin' Hispanic friends, here's a list of some of the of great Latinos in Rock History.  What do Jerry Garcia, Carlos Santana, Metallica's Robert Trujillo and Vince Neil all have in common?  They're rockin' for la raza.

Even if Cinco De Mayo is a commercial holiday pumped up by advertising executives at Corona.  There's nothing wrong with celebrating Hispanic culture and heritage.  Plus, any excuse to have a cerveza on a Monday afternoon is a good one.
