Back in the 1980's, Styx and a few other bands like Judas Priest, just to name a few, were under were under fire for putting backwards satanic lyrics in their music.

Dennis Deyoung of Styx said that it was hard enough making a good song much less doing stupid stuff like that and that anyone who listened to their music backwards was the antichrist.
