Spotify Wrapped? Pssh. Here’s My Apple Music Replay For 2023

I get it, back when streaming music started blowing up... and we quit paying 99 cents or $1.29 a song, Spotify was THE choice. I used to use it, too, when it first released. That is until Apple brought out Apple Music.

Spotify launched in the US back in 2011, with Apple taking a few more years to beef up its catalog and servers... releasing Apple Music in 2015. So, for around 4 years, I was a dedicated Spotify user.

But, once Apple released their version, I moved my entire library of playlists to their service. Why? It's simple. My life revolves around Apple (excluding my gaming computer at home), and it just worked that much better.

129 HOURS of music listened to this year.

Even though I host a show on our Classic Rock station... you can see who I listened to the most.

And the best song, if you ask me, is this one.

Ok, now... this was strange. But I think this was the only time I clicked on an "Album" all year.

This, also, makes a lot of since. I DO love some upbeat party jams.

On the final screen, showing the wrap-up... do you know what song started playing? Well, it is a viral song from TikTok by one "Dixon Dallas"...

Funny, Apple... funny. I only played this song 21 times... but I guess that was enough for Apple to play a prank on me at the end.
