Stand up Broom

I'm interested is this social media thing of brooms standing up by themselves.  I have seen the pictures of friends, relatives and people I don't even know, that have been posting pictures of brooms that just seem to stand up by themselves.  I guess I missed the point of the whole thing.  I've drank water out of a garden hose, jumped off my garage roof as a 7 year old.  I have even buttered my toast after seeing our house cat lick the butter!  I thought it was time I took the challenge of the broom thing.  I stepped slowly out to my garage and grabbed the broken broom I have.  After lining it up on the metal and the wood of my work bench, I took a deep breath, stepped back and...HOLY COW, it stood up!  I still don't know what all of this broom stuff means.  I guess I need to go to the man store, buy an new handle and start sweeping.
