The man accused of shooting at two probation and parole officers before engaging Billings police in a standoff downtown earlier this month pleaded not guilty to the charges Monday at his arraignment.

60-year-old Michael Jeffrey Anderson was arraigned in Yellowstone County District Court Monday on two counts of attempted deliberate homicide with weapons enhancements. Anderson was arrested May 1st after a standoff with police at his home in the 1600 block of Second Avenue North.
