Storm Damage For Me: How About You?

The big talk today was about the storm.  I lost my favorite tree!  I know that sounds kind of weird, but it was my favorite tree.  Oh sure, there is still half standing.  This tree was the tree my kids climbed in.  I had two different trunks that wrapped around each other.  Last night during the storm, my son and I were out with a shop vac keeping water out of a window sill.  After we were done, my wife pointed out the window, and there was my beloved tree.  After I get home today the chainsaw comes out to cut up the remains.  I told my wife last night as hard as it was, at least we still have a roof over our head and a dry home, no broken windows and everyone is fine.  Damn, I'll miss the tree!
