Big Sky Country

Pretty much sums up most of Montana in a nutshell. As harsh as the stereotypes may seem, there is no denying that they are true.

Hello starlings! We just entered into the sign of Scorpio, so it's time to party. This time of year tends to make us either nostalgic, or amped up. Halloween energy is palpable, so let's take advantage of the week ahead so we can enjoy the festivities later on...

Every day or every evening it gives you something unique and different. Here are three of my favorites.

This is the moon at 530am. Not bad would make a great all Hallows Eve moon don't you think?

The moon was full the other night and was a mighty fine sight! I think I herd the Wolfman!

I like the clouds and the wide open sky's of Montana. I took this picture the other morning as the sun was coming up out in my front yard God makes some dynamite pictures. Don't you think? Ain't Life Grand!!

The other night I walked out my front door and it almost looked like daylight. The moon was close and bright. The last time I tried to take a picture of a cool moon it looked like a pinhead on my phone. This one came out ok. Just another reason they call it big sky country...

I took this picture at 5am the other day. I'm sure they have great sunrises in other parts of the world but I choose Montana. This is just in my front yard on a great morning.......Ain't Life Grand!

When I moved here, many moons ago, I never had to ask my brother why they call Montana Big Sky Country.
