The Sinclair gas station off Broadwater had some vandalism happen last week. I was on my way to the station at the Double Tree and noticed the Dino’s head was taken right off. I thought maybe someone hit the thing with a car, but that’s not the case.

Why are we turning to countries like Iran, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia for oil when we could be turning to Montana, North Dakota, and Texas for oil? Plus, with oil prices skyrocketing, is production in the Bakken oil fields already ramping up due to price alone?
Aside from natural gas, what else is brought to the surface when we drill for oil? Water. A lot of it. That's what makes a company eyeing a move to Billings, Montana even more interesting- they're able to take the wastewater from the oil fields and turn it into useable water for agricultural irrigation.
Jumbo toilet paper pack jokes aside, Costco really is a good place to shop for your household items. Including gas. Usually the lines are really long. Today I discovered the perfect time to fuel up. No lines.
I have been keeping my eyes open for the pumps to go up at the new 3G's in Lockwood. They are working on them now. It won't be long and the covers will be up and then the pumps go in. I will keep you posted. They do still have space for lease...
There's one thing I don't understand about the price of gas. How come when it goes down it drops a penny at a time and when it goes up it's a dime at a time? That makes no sense to me.(well maybe greed)
And now they have pretty much shut down the Bocken because we have too much oil...
A couple of weeks ago, the low-tire pressure light illuminated on my dashboard, so I figured I'd better stop by the gas station and put some air in. I literally went to five stations before I found one with a functioning air compressor. Three had no evidence of ever having one...
