It's been four days since record floods began devasting communities in Montana. Governor Gianforte is reportedly out of state and nobody in Helena will say why, where, or when he'll be back.
The Governor's Office, MT FW&P, and Northwestern Energy are closely monitoring the situation and working to fix the malfunction. Meanwhile, volunteers are stepping up to help save fish.
The announcement was made as Governor Gianforte signed Senate Bill 65 into law. SB 65 is the COVID-19 liability protection bill that the governor said he wanted to have in place prior to lifting the statewide mask directive.
