Montana's Department of Environmental Quality and the Montana Department of Transportation invites the public to provide input on an electric vehicle infrastructure plan in Montana.

Do you think that would work in Montana? Montana is a big state, the 4th largest in the Union.  It's nothing to drive 10, 20, or even 30 miles to work each way.  I mean, that would really add up and cost Montana drivers a ton, right?

Republican Rep. Mike Hopkins says his bill is part of an overall legislative effort to more consistently fund infrastructure projects.

The rules also would limit money for building construction if the state employee pension plan was not adequately funded.
