With space heaters and snow blowers working overtime, it's been weeks since we've gotten above 32 degrees. While we will likely see significant snow this weekend, Billings is expected to have high temperatures above the freezing mark almost every day until late March.
I actually haven't given this guy a name yet, maybe Ol' Red like you would name a truck or something. That's what we will do. He is actually quite the helper.
Well, I guess it is still winter here in Montana. They keep saying four to eight inches of snow. I had eight inches at my place last night. The weather man says snow until tomorrow. I think eight inches is plenty wrong. As my Dad would say, it is what it is...
Billings Public Schools have lifted the alternate bus route schedule and will return to normal routes starting Friday, January 24. BPS had alternate routes in effect since the first round of heavy snow hit Yellowstone County on Monday and extended the routes when a second winter storm dropped another six inches on Wednesday.
Following another round of snow, Billings Public Schools will extend the alternate bus route schedule through Thursday, January 24th. Special needs buses will run normal routes unless otherwise notified by the student’s bus driver.
The National Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 12 noon on Wednesday (1/23) to 12 noon on Thursday (1/24) for portions of south central Montana and north central Wyoming.
