Steve Winwood has been opening for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on their current tour in support of their new 'Hypnotic Eye' album.

On Monday (Jan. 28), Eric Clapton announced that he is putting out a new album, 'Old Sock,' on March 12. Apart from the track listing, not too much other information has been available about the project. However, on Wednesday (Jan. 30) Clapton revealed the many guest stars who will appear on the record.

Roger Daltrey continues to do what he can to make sure the kids are all right. On March 28, Daltrey performed Who and solo material as the headliner for a Teenage Cancer Trust benefit show at London’s Royal Albert Hall. And he wasn’t alone: The concert’s impressive list of guest musicians included Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood, as well as Steve Winwood and Paul Weller.
