Building That Housed Habitat, Demolished
What you see is the demolition of the building that used to house Habitat for Humanity. It caught fire a year ago or so. As I drove by, it struck me that I have known that building for many, many years. It used to house Frontier Chevrolet when I was a kid growing up. That business was bought by Denny Menholt Chevrolet before they moved to the west end. I spent many a Saturday doing remotes at the car dealership on 1st avenue north for radio. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire and Habitat for Humanity has since found a new home on the west end. I wonder what this soon-to-be-empty lot will now house?
