Tragedy In Golden Valley as Police Investigate Suspicious Death
According to a release from the Golden Valley Sheriff's Office, on the morning of May 15th, the Golden Valley Sheriff's Office received a call requesting a welfare check on a rural residence.
During the welfare check, responding deputies located a 67-year-old male with head trauma who was deceased in the home.
The efforts of the Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Division of Criminal Investigation, Wheatland County Sheriff's Office, and other assisting agencies, led to the apprehension of two individuals connected to the incident. A 37-year-old male and a 21-year-old female were taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation.
At this time, the Golden Valley Sheriff's Office is not releasing the names of the individuals apprehended and has not announced charges against these individuals.
Thankfully, the authorities have confirmed that there are no outstanding suspects, ensuring there is no immediate threat to the safety of the public. However, the investigation remains active, and officials urge the community to refrain from speculation and respect the privacy of the victim's family during this difficult period.
