‘Veep’ Season 3 and ‘Silicon Valley’ Release First Premiere Clips
Sure, 'HBO's 'Game of Thrones' will steal the spotlight this coming Sunday with its April 6 season 4 premiere, but the lords of Mike Judge's 'Silicon Valley' and 'Veep' season 3 will be right behind the dragons with their own premieres. Check out the latest look at Mike Judge's buzzy tech comedy and Selina Meyer's bid for the presidency in three new clips from Sunday's debut!
Premiering at 10:30 P.M. behind 'Silicon Valley,' the Emmy-winning 'Veep' will start its third season with Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) beginning her campaign for the presidency (making the series' title a bit awkward). The first clip sees Selina trying to make it through a book signing, with all her usual feigned enthusiasm, though the usual support staff is nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile for those unfamiliar, ‘Silicon Valley’ stars T.J. Miller, Thomas Middleditch, Judd Apatow vet Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Christopher Evan Welch, Amanda Crew, ‘The Office‘ star Zach Woods and ‘The Daily Show‘ vet Kumail Nanjiani, following “the high tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success.” Judge himself directed the pilot, co-executive producing with fellow ‘King of the Hill’ EPs John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky along with Alec Berg, Michael Rotenberg and Tom Lassally.
