What is a Montana Mom’s Favorite Brunch Food?
I don't want to ruin your day by making you anxious, but MOTHERS DAY IS NEXT WEEKEND. It is time for you to stop lollygagging and put a little thought into what to get for the woman that gave you life. Traditionally, I usually cave and buy flowers for my Mama. But, it is always nice to do a little something else for Mom on her special day.
According to a survey on prnewswire.com
70 percent of moms want a day to themselves and their top annoyance is cleaning up after the celebration. 51 percent of moms want a good night's sleep.40 percent of moms want a self-care day (spa, manicure, massage). 38 percent of moms want a night out with friends.
Now, if you promise to clean up the mess, you can probably make Mom brunch. Just make sure that you are not clanking pots and pans together, or setting off the smoke detector. Mom should appreciate anything you make. But, what do Montana Moms REALLY want to eat for Mother's Day?
The folks at Zippia, crunched the numbers to find out what brunch food Moms want in each state.
According to their website, here is how they did it.
Using Google Trends, we determined what brunch food each state eats a disproportionate amount of. We defined brunch foods as common breakfast foods and drinks in both search volume and prominence on menus.. From there, we determined what food is searched a disproportionately, high amount in each state.
Using that data, Zippia discovered that Montana Moms prefer Mimosas over actual food. Yup, the simple combination of champagne and orange juice is all Montana Moms need to be happy on Mother's Day.
So this Mother's Day, let's raise a glass to MOM!
