Whitefish Montana, Great Winter Getaway

Are you a AAA member?  I am and was surprised to see Whitefish make the list of great winter escapes in their magazine.  AAA had 6 great cities to visit in the winter.

At Whitefish Resort you can ski, check out 'snow ghosts'-trees covered and contorted.  Maybe take a sleigh ride or even ice-skate.  But the best winter attraction is the Glacier, yes, same as in the summer.

Now, to make the almost 8 hour drive.  I've been avoiding going anywhere but to work, the store and home.  But the roads should be better soon.  Just enough time for us to plan a trip.
