Later this year, Brad Whitford of Aerosmith and former Ted Nugent singer Derek St. Holmes will release the long-awaited follow-up to their 1981 Whitford/St. Holmes album. Today (March 24), they revealed that they will embark on a month-long tour, where they will be opening up for Whitesnake.

They broke the news on their Facebook page with the message, “We are very excited to announce the first leg of our 2016 Summer Tour supporting the legendary Whitesnake!”

The duo will begin on June 3 at the Bomb Factory in Dallas and wrap it up at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, N.H., on July 1. That last night, as well as a June 22 concert at the Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, Pa., are headlining gigs. All the dates are listed below.

You can visit their website for complete ticket information. They are offering a VIP meet-and-greet package that includes a photo with the duo, a rare limited edition CD, an autographed 8x10 photo, a commemorative laminate and a guitar pick pack.

Last year, we learned that Whitford and St. Holmes have been working together under the radar for several years. They first got together after they left their respective bands in the early ‘80s, but reconnected when they both moved to the Nashville suburbs and found that the chemistry was still there. “Yeah, we just decided we gotta do this record,” Whitford said. “We had so much material, we said, ‘Well, we better record this.’ It’s coming along really good.”

As of now, there is no official release date for the new record.
