So, what is the Great Rockies Sportshow? If you are new to the area, here's what you can look forward to.

  • The annual three-day event is the largest presentation of fishing, hunting, boats, RVs, travel, and outdoor products in Montana.
  • Visitors buy outdoor-related products they can also book their next vacation to Alaska, Canada, and Africa. Other vacation opportunities feature canoe camping in the boundary waters of northern Minnesota.
  • The first RV and boat sale of the season kicks off at MetraPark as part of the Great Rockies Sportshow. Top dealers and reps are at the show. Shop and compare a huge selection of RV’s, boats, and power sports.
  • Weekend entertainment from “The Birdman” and his live Birds-Of-Prey show. It's a family-friendly show and you'll see magnificent birds of prey. Multiple live shows daily.
  • Fun kids activities include Kids Catch and Release Trout Pond and Gemstone & Fossil Mining.
  • Seminars on elk hunting, walleye fishing, halibut fishing in Alaska, African Safaris, and more.
  • Some of the speakers include;
    • Vern Gagnon (Reel Therapy Charter Fishing) – “Improving Your Walleye Fishing”
    • Reid Stovall – “Archery Elk Calling & Equipment” and “Archery Elk Hunting Q&A”
    • Grant Soukup – “Ice Fishing, Chilling & Drillin!” plus “Fly Fishing, First Cast to First Fish!”
