After Sandy – The Jersey Shore Then and Now [PHOTOS]

As the one-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy approaches, the face of the Jersey Shore has changed dramatically. While recovery efforts have been successful, there are many who are still suffering.

Recently, Getty photographers set out to track the progress since Sandy swept through the tri-state area. Their photos highlight the accomplishments of the past year, but underscore the need to stay the course.
