I am originally from Los Angeles, but grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. In between I spent two years of my childhood in Montana. One in Great Falls and the other in Havre. My mom married a Canadian when I was 9, and we moved to Canada. Because the winters in Edmonton were too damn cold, I moved back to California once I was 21. My radio career has taken me to Casa Grande, Ariz., and to Palm Springs, Fresno and San Luis Obispo, Calif., and back to Edmonton, and Yakima. I play poker, basketball and flag football in my free time. My claim to fame is that my wife Monica is sisters with the former Miss El Salvador 1996, who came in sixth in that year's Miss Universe competition. Of course I think my wife is prettier than her sister! I also have a 12-year-old daughter named Noel who is in junior high and was the fifth-grade champion high jumper.

The Blood Moon “Prophecy” Purporting The Second Coming Debunked… By The Bible.
Back in 2008 Christian pastors Mark Blitz and John Hagee (whose endorsement of John McCain for President that same year seen by some as anti-Catholic caused headaches for the campaign) popularized the idea that a tetrad (or a series of 4 lunar eclipses), starting with last nights blood moon, is a sign of either the second coming of Christ (according to Blitz) or change in the course of history for

“Certified Humane” Natural Meat Commercials Are Unintentionally Funny
This morning as I was working out I saw a commercial for "Certified Humane" natural meats... the kind you might buy at Good Earth Market downtown or at Natural Grocers on 24th Street. The ads promote the humane treatment of farm animals and how animals who are treated humanely are healthier for us to eat.

At Off The Leaf espresso on Grand Avenue they have this cool chalkboard for patrons to but friends, family members and colleagues to purchase drinks or snacks for each other in advance and as you can see from the picture above it's called "Pay It Forward"... like the movie.

Loose Rocks Along Zimmerman Trail May Keep The Artery Closed For Quite Awhile
According to Billings Public Works 6000-7000 vehicles pass along the trail every day when open but at the moment only local residents whose homes are near the lower portion are allowed anywhere near the area.
Originally the plan was to reopen Zimmerman Trail on April 1st but more rocks slid of the rims onto the trail on Tuesday and an engineers assessment says that even the rock behind the portion
Should Morbidly Obese People Be Charged For 2 Airline Tickets When They Fly?
Recently on a flight to Denver I sat next to a morbidly obese lady. She was so large that when I got into my seat and put the armrest down I hear her say "Oh, great".
