Mandatory Extra Parenting for Spirit Week

My kid informed me late last night that it's Hawaiian Day at his school today for Spirit Week...nothing like letting me know at the last minute. Luckily for him, he was able to find his Hawaiian shirt and shorts, plus whatever else he threw together at the last minute this morning.

Homecoming is a blast. But a whole week of spirit gets to be a little bit much for parents sometimes. Especially when the kids wait until the last minute to let me know they need something for Wacky Hat Day, Tie Dye Tuesday, Decade Day or Twins Day.
