The grueling month long opening stretch of races for the Frontier Region of the American Sprint Car Series enters week three, with races coming Friday at Gallatin Speedway and Saturday at Billings Motorsports Park, according to Andrew Kunas, series announcer. Friday's show at Gallatin Speedway will be the first visit by the series to the Belgrade, Montana facility in 2015.

Coming off three straight victories and then a third place finish in the first four races of the season, J.J. Hickle of Quilcene, Washington carries a 41-point lead into Friday's event over Laurel, Montana's Phil Dietz, who while winless has still turned in Top 5 finishes each night, including a pair of runner-ups, according to Kunas.

Hickle swept the May 29th and May 30th events at Billings Motorsports Park before winning last Friday at Electric City Speedway.

Billings driver Joe Perry got in the win column for the first time in his career when he took the checkered flag last Saturday at Electric City Speedway, Kunas said. Sitting fourth in the point standings, Perry is now looking to build off that first victory this weekend. Alberta's Kelly Miller, who finished second to Perry last Saturday and now sits third in the points, also has a Top 5 finish each night so far this season to his credit.

Thanks, Andy!
