After eight albums and almost as many years kicking around just outside of mainstream success, Bob Seger finally had a hit record with 1976’s Night Moves, a moving, soulful and rocking look back on the people and places that shaped him.
Bob Seger achieved full-fledged rock stardom with 1976's Night Moves, but while his raspy howl may have been new to a generation of fans, he'd actually been chipping away at mainstream success for many years.
Hey everybody!!! It is time for me to share one of my favorites with you. Every day I cruise the internet looking for whatever tune floats my boat at the moment! Today my favorite is Bob Seger. I would love to hear your suggestions, and who knows maybe I will post one of your favorites right here on The Hawk's website
Following the death of folk icon Pete Seeger, Twitter blew up yesterday with fans paying respect . . . to Bob Seger. Apparently, some people got the 'We Shall Overcome' songsmith confused with the 'Old Time Rock & Roll' singer, who's still very much alive.
Today's lesson isn't spelled out note by note but it's not too hard. Bob Segers Come To Papa is today's lesson and if you watch close you can pick it up without a problem. This would be a great song to play in the bars and have a good time doing it
