MontanaFair

MontanaFair has drastically scaled back events this year due to COVID-19. However, the fair has been extended to seventeen days instead of 10. It kicked off today (7/24) and runs through August 15th at MetraPark. They are offering various ticket packages at substantial savings.

No rodeo, no concerts, no supercross and now MontanaFair organizers have announced there will be no competitive judging events.

You can see, hear, taste, and feel all the fun of summer in Montana with so much happening this weekend.

Nearly a quarter-million people are expected to visit MontanaFair during the 9-day "agricultural celebration" that begins Friday (8/9) at MetraPark.

They have been setting up for the past week and on my drive home Thursday I see that they are finally open! The carnival is in town! You can find it at 162 1st Ave N in the Berry's Auto parking lot where 1st and Main come together...

MontanaFair is heating up for this summer as acts are being announced to perform. One of those acts announced is something that I personally am very excited about. Gabriel Iglesias or otherwise know as Fluffy will bring his comedy show to MetraPark on August 13th...

MontanaFair is the region's largest event, attracting about a quarter of a million people annually, according to the fair's website.

When you think of the MontanaFair, do you think of the rides or the food? Give me a deep-fried anything.  I look forward to the food. Fried dough, I think is my favorite.  What about you? This year the MontanaFair has new rides that you might want to try before you put on your fat pants and head out for all the deliciously sinful food they have to offer...

It's MontanaFair time in Billings and we all love the rides, the shows, the food and more. However, when we're scarfing down that burger, watching the magician on stage, we sometimes lose focus of the real reason we are able to have these events, but not this year.

Get ready for some exciting Supercross action Tuesday night at MontanaFair.

The Metra is a great facility, so don't take this as a complaint so much as a note in the suggestion box. I took the kid out to MontanaFair on Saturday night and had to park in the upper lot above the arena. I didn't mind the walk considering I've been to lots of fairs with much less to offer where you drop 10 bucks to park in a field somewhere...
