Captain Beyond was a band from the early 70s that played some great music. Depending on what you like! I loved Captain beyond and in the beginning the members came from great backgrounds. Rod Evans was the vocalist and was the first singer for Deep Purple, Larry (Rhino) Reinhardt was the guitar player for Iron Butterfly, Lee Dorman was the bass player for Iron Butterfly, and Bobby Caldwell was the drummer for Johnny Winter and Rick Derrenger!

Today's lost band is a great blues band that most people have forgotten or don't think is important. But to me these guys are some of the roots to rock and roll. It is sad that bands like Savoy Brown don't make the play list at radio stations because someone at the top thinks you can only play top forty songs but that is the way of corporate America and there is nothing the little guy can do about it!
