In advance of the season finale with Ben Affleck and Kanye West, 'SNL' veteran Bill Hader has revealed his intent to leave the series, but who might also leave behind the late-night, sketch comedy?

Is there a recurring SNL sketch more divisive than "The Californians"? For everyone who loves it, there is someone else who thinks it's one of the worst things to ever happen to the show. The latest edition won't change any minds, but the return of Kristen Wiig does make it a little more special than the past couple of times they've trotted it out.

Although SNL is known for frequently pushing the boundaries of good taste, it tends to favor comedy of the sexual and political nature above anything else. That's why a certain sketch on last night's Kristen Wiig-hosted episode proved to be a massive shock -- it's not every day that the longrunning comedy variety show gets violent.

The return of Kristen Wiig to the SNL stage meant the resurrection of several great characters, including the Target Lady, her role on The Californians and, of course, Kat of "Garth and Kat" fame. The world's worst musical duo made an appearance on Weekend Update and it was as funny as it has ever been.

Since it's produced so quickly, SNL will never not take advantage of any holiday that arrives near its air date. That meant that last night's episode saw a handful of mom-themed sketches in honor of Mother's Day! The first of them was a great fake commercial for a flower delivery service starring the terrific Kristen Wiig. Check it out below.

As expected, this past weekend's all-new 'SNL' featuring 'The Hangover Part III's Zach Galifianakis as host and musical guest Of Monsters and Men offered up a few solid sketches, but varied across the board for the bearded funnyman's third turn. Although much of last night's SNL was fairly standard (albeit, very funny) stuff, there was one sketch where it felt like host Zach Galifiankis was allowed to run wild. The scene found the 'Hangover' star playing the host of a public access TV show about how to entertain guests in your home and...well...let's just say that you have to watch it.
