This is my Conan with the neighbor girls.  My 110lbs. vicious breed dog with the neighbor girls.  The pic is taken from a distance because I didn't want to disturb the girls, they were having such a good time with him.  He was in the yard and I was doing dishes.

Anyone with a dog on the vicious breed list knows it's hard to find a place to rent.  On top of that renter's insurance is more and it just goes on from there.  The dogs on the viscous breed dog list include : Husky, Malamute, Pitbull, Shepard, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios, Akitas, and Wolf-hybrids.  Forbes had a great article that explains more, 11 Riskiest Dog Breeds for Homowners and Renters.

I had hard time finding someone that would rent to me because of my dog.  Now keep in mind, I have excellent credit and also happen to have a rental of my own.  You would think that you would want to rent to me.

I bring this up because I'm now hearing my friend is also having a hard time renting because of her pitbull.  Isn't it about time we judge dogs on a case by case basis?
