Billings Balloon Fest 2019

This event is always so cool to check out. There is something about the oversized beauty of the balloons that is captivating to both kids and adults. The loud "whhooooosh" of their propane burners, heating up the air inside the balloon.  And the way they glow at night is downright beautiful.

If weather cooperates, you'll probably see some of the balloons drifting over the Billings area Friday morning.  But if you'd like to get up close and personal, bring the kiddo's and head out Amend Park Saturday night (7/27), starting at 6 PM.  From the Balloons Over Billings 2019 Glow & Festival Facebook page here is the rundown of events:

**Admissions is free and handicap accessible
There will be all kinds of food trucks, face painting, balloon artist, things for the kids, entertainment, the glow, a movie...

7:00 - 8:30 Band: Soul Funk Collective will be playing

9:00 - 10:00 Glow: Bring your family, friends, and everyone else that you know to the beautiful evening event of the summer. Watch as the hot air balloons light up the night.

10:15 - 12:00 Movie: Dumbo

Please NO: smoking, dogs, drones

Do bring: family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, cameras, blankets or lawn chairs, flashlight.

I will add, bring bug spray to the event. Those little blood suckers are starting to get pretty bad.
