Billings First Lady Robin Hanel is Way Out of Our Mayor’s League

With all due respect to Billings Mayor Thomas Hanel, who does have a pretty cool mustache, he clearly out-kicked his coverage when he married his lovely wife Robin.

Have you ever seen a couple and wondered, "what is she doing with him"? The mayor must hear that all the time. Luckily for him, the mayor's been happily married for many years. Although she doesn't look like a grandmother, our first lady and mayor actually have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Obviously, the mayor is a lucky man. And, as a smart man, he probably says 'yes' to  his better half more often than he does to our city council, which is a bold statement. You also have to admire Robin. It takes a lot of patience and dedication to marry a politician, especially when she's way out of his league.

This year, First Lady Hanel is helping to organize the annual Yellowstone County Relay For Life, which is coming up on Friday, July 10th. Her goal is to have 10,000 luminarias surrounding the Billings West High School track for this year's event. If you would like to participate, click on the link below.
