If you’re old enough to remember when listening to an album was an event, not background noise, not a shuffled playlist, but a sit-down-and-soak-it-in experience... this show is about to hit you right in the nostalgia.

The Black Jacket Symphony is bringing one of rock’s most legendary records to life, performing Pink Floyd's The Wall live, note-for-note, sound-for-sound, just the way fans remember it. The show is Saturday, February 28th, at the Alberta Bair Theater.

That means the iconic songs, the dramatic transitions, and the larger-than-life atmosphere that made the original album such a cultural milestone, plus a full set of greatest hits to round out the night.

Fans agree. Black Jacket Symphony shows are an experience.

Over the past decade, The Black Jacket Symphony has recreated more than 40 classic albums for audiences across the country, playing to over a million fans.

The musicians are hand-picked for each production, and they go deep into the details, instrument choices, tones, and arrangements, so the performance feels less like a tribute and more like stepping inside the record itself.

As for the legends behind the music, Pink Floyd remains one of the best-selling artists of all time, with estimated global sales topping 250 million albums. The band’s last full tour wrapped in 1994 following The Division Bell, and while they reunited briefly for a concert in 2005, they’ve largely remained off the road ever since.

Key members David Gilmour and Nick Mason are still active musically today, while Roger Waters continues to tour his solo productions. Keyboardist Richard Wright passed away in 2008. Bottom line? You'll probably never get to see Pink Floyd live, but this is about as close as it gets.
