Blues-rockers Hot Tuna have announced 11 new dates for their Holidays Tour, set to begin on Nov. 9 in Pomeroy, Ohio. The run will be mostly acoustic shows and include stops along the East Coast and through the Northeast before returning to Michigan, Ohio and Chicago.

Former Jefferson Airplane members Jack Casady (bass) and Jorma Kaukonen (guitar) have held down Hot Tuna since 1969. The band is rounded out by mandolin player Barry Mitterhoff and drummer Skoota Warner. They've released a number of live LPs and seven studio albums over the years, including the latest, 'Steady As She Goes,' in 2011.

Two of the 12 shows (which includes two performances on the same day in Chicago) will feature plugged-in electric sets: the kickoff date in Pomeroy and the group's annual concert at the Beacon Theater. The first show in New York on Nov. 22 will be acoustic. Visit the group's website for more info.
