I swear, only the coldest-hearted people in the world do not like puppies. For real. I get that some folks aren't really "dog people" (my parents come to mind), but even my mom and dad melt at the sight of a puppy.

Today, we met an awesome adoptable pup from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings. This Wet Nose Wednesday superstar is a sweet little guy named Pine. I know, it's kind of a weird name, but here's the nice thing about puppies (or even adult dogs)... It's quite easy to give them a new moniker.

Pine and his brother both came to the shelter as strays.

They're just 14 weeks old, and YVAS is calling them Corgi mixes. Both pups have slightly curly, shiny, black coats, and Pine has a small white patch on his neck/chest.

Lindsay Dillon, Volunteer Coordinator at YVAS, said little Pine absolutely loved his car ride to our studios today. My co-workers and I were amazed at how incredibly calm this puppy is. Corgis are smart little dogs, and this pup's personality leads us to believe he'll make a fantastic family pet.

Billings showed up big time last weekend at the Shelter.

When the shelter starts to overflow with adoptable pets, they'll occasionally offer "FREE Adoption Days." Last weekend was one of those occasions, and Dillon said 55 dogs were adopted! Another no-cost adoption day is coming up in the near future; watch for details.

Thank you, Shipton's Big R, for supporting animal adoption in the Billings area. You can browse all of the pets currently available at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter HERE.

Looks Like A Cartoon Halloween At Costco!

It's almost Halloween, and it looks like Costco is banking on beloved animated characters to help transform your haunted home.

Apparently, gone are the days when Halloween meant only spine-chilling skeletons and terrifying tombstones.

This year, Costco's Halloween section reads more like a Disney catalog than a horror movie set!
