
Idaho Fugitive Captured Near Big Timber Montana
Law enforcement in Sweet Grass County reported today via social media the capture of an Idaho man. Jarrod Thomas Sisneros, age 30, is the subject of an attempt to locate from Idaho Falls, ID, related to a homicide on June 23rd, 2025. The man also has two felony warrants.
The Sweet Grass County Sheriff's Office said the individual's vehicle was located near Big Timber Canyon Road by a resident, who then notified the Sheriff’s Office. While under surveillance, the man fled in his SUV. Deputies pursued the vehicle, which eventually broke down.

The man then attempted to run on foot, but was tased and taken into custody. Sisneros is currently being held on his no-bond warrant at the Gallatin County Detention Center, awaiting initial appearance and extradition back to Idaho.
Sisneros is allegedly involved in a homicide that is believed to have occurred in the overnight or morning hours of June 23rd near Idaho Falls, Idaho, according to information posted on the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office website.

A passerby discovered a gunshot victim in a vehicle, identified as 34-year-old Daniel William Leary, who was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
