Sure, a few of them are pretty rustic but isn't that the point of being in Montana? If you wanted every single creature comfort of home, staycation at home and save yourself the travel time. Finding an inexpensive short term rental in Montana has been a difficult task for a few years now, but these options just do the trick.

Cabin in Martin City, Montana near Glacier ($93/night) If you are looking for a cute place with a bunch of amenities that's SUPER close to Glacier National Park, this cabin checks the boxes. According to the official Airbnb listing: "Only nine miles from the main entrance, the cabin features beautiful mountain views as well as a king-size bed, clawfoot tub, indoor fireplace, and large covered porch. Outside there's a private fire pit, BBQ, and NEW HOT TUB."

Guest House south of Livingston, Montana near YNP and Chico ($100/night) Dogs are allowed (for a fee) at this option near Livingston. As popular as the area has become, we thought this rental was a bargain. According to the official Airbnb listing: "Dexter Peak Cabin is located near the base of the mountains on a 25 acre parcel shared with our home but still private. Close to Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River, waterfalls, hiking and fishing, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park."

Home in Billings, Montana with fenced yard ($99/night) This is cute choice if you're NOT looking for 'rustic'. It's a house in a quiet neighborhood. Should your travels involve Billings, here's what this listing offers: "This cozy house has three bedrooms.
