For kids, Easter is largely about chocolate bunnies, colorful baskets with small gifts, dying eggs, and eating jelly beans. For many adults, Easter has religious significance. Spirituality aside, almost all of us will enjoy a special meal on Easter Sunday, which falls on March 31 this year.

We have family coming to town and I'll be cooking at home for our Easter celebration. However, the advantages of not having to make a giant mess in your kitchen (and the cleanup that follows) are certainly attractive. Here's our roundup of restaurants in Billings that are having Easter Brunch.

Montana Sky at the DoubleTree

High atop the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Billings, you'll enjoy brunch with a view - perhaps the best in Billings. The restaurant (it's open to the public for breakfast and dinner every day, by the way) has a new chef, who is pulling out all the stops for their brunch event. Hilton Garden Inn

The Hilton Garden Inn (located behind Home Depot) is hosting a yummy Easter Brunch from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. The kitchen and chefs at HGI Billings have been doing some creative dishes lately. Like their root beer float burger. Brunch details here.

TEN at the Northern

This is where our family went for Easter brunch a couple of years ago. The culinary team at TEN will offer a full spread of savory and sweet breakfast and brunch classics from 10 am to 4 pm. Reservations are required, details are here. 

The Montana Club

The Montana Club will offer their all-you-can-eat brunch from 9 am to 2 pm. The Montana Club will also have Easter Dinner specials from 3 pm to close and the full menu is available from 2 pm to close. Find out more here.

Western Empire Emporium

Unpretentious and accommodating, the Western Empire Emporium is hosting its buffet-style Easter Brunch from 10 am to 4 pm. Details here.

Montana Rib & Chop House

Always a great choice in Billings for excellent steaks and entrees, Rib & Chop will have their Easter Brunch beginning at 10 am. Reservations are recommended and you can find more info here.

High Horse Saloon and Eatery

The High Horse is doing Easter Brunch again this year, where guests will certainly leave feeling stuffed and satisfied. Brunch is from 9 am to 2 pm and reservations are required. Details here.

Carverss Brazilian Grill

Okay, Carverss is not officially hosting a special Easter Brunch, but they are open from 11 am to 8 pm on Sunday and their delicious, all-you-can meats and salad bar is likely similar (or less) in price than several of the Easter offerings featured in this article.
