Boxer fans, meet your new fur baby friend.

If my family hadn't adopted a puppy from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter just a few weeks ago, I would be claiming our Wet Nose Wednesday featured pet this week as soon as I could get my stubby little tail to the shelter.

Willow is a two-year-old Boxer mix that sadly found her way to Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter as a stray. She was neutered this week, updated on vaccinations, microchipped, and is ready to adopt now.

Possibly the most calm Boxer we've ever met.

Some Boxers can be a little hyper, but Willow was calm and well-behaved during her on-air visit and charmed her way around our office, making friends with everyone on the 23rd floor.

Her brindle markings are as beautiful as her demeanor.

She quickly warmed up in a strange environment and knew how to sit on command and possibly shake (it may have been more of a quick paw-fist bump). She is very loving. Giving hugs and cuddles seems to be her thing. We're confident that Willow will love to share every moment of her day with you.

Chip your pets, Billings.

This seems like a no-brainer, but we're always amazed by how many stray dogs arrive at YVAS without microchips, just like Willow. The shelter offers walk-in microchipping anytime during business hours and it's super-affordable at $20.

Great news... Our special-needs dog Arya from last week was adopted into a loving home!
