the matter, and the administration's attention to this matter. We are here seeking partnership to secure our people and uphold our sovereignty. Apsaaloke people have been inhabited the Yellowstone River Valley and South Central Montana. Our reservation was established by treaty in 1851. Thanks to CNN (not that CNN)- the Crow Nation News...the full video is below, as Chairman Whiteclay testified before US House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. The committee held an oversight hearing titled “Examining the Trump Administration’s Work Combatting Transnational Cartels in Indian Country.”
If you back up the tape on the video of the hearing you'll also see that Montana's own Stacy Zinn testified as well. She was the head of the DEA here in Montana who took the fight to the cartels, and continues to fight for the people of Montana.
The chairman also talked about the Crow Reservation being ground zero for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) epidemic.
