Jeff The Nature Guy to be on Wild Kingdom Saturday
Tomorrow, on KULR-8 here in Billings, Billings' own Jeff The Nature Guy (Jeff Ewelt), Executive Director of ZooMontana, will be featured on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom program.
Jeff will be joining hosts Peter Gros and Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant of Wild Kingdom to take a look at the comeback of the, once thought to be extinct, black-footed ferret.
Back in 1981, when everyone assumed the black-footed ferret was gone for good, a Wyoming ranch dog discovered a deceased black-footed ferret. That brought hope back to restore the population and kick-started the conservation effort.
In a release from ZooMontana, Jeff said he is honored to be a part of the Wild Kingdom project, and being able to film in the same location where the ferret was rediscovered was incredible.
How Can I Watch?
If you are in the Billings area, or receive KULR-8 Television on your cable/satellite subscription, you'll find it Saturday, May 18th at 9 AM. The program is 30 minutes long.
If you're outside of the Billings area, you can check your TV listings by visiting TVGuide.com.
Alternatively, if you're like me and are a streaming-only household... you can stream NBC live if you have a Peacock subscription, or on YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, DirecTV Stream, etc. Doesn't seem to be a "free" option anywhere, beyond the classic antenna.
