The town of Laurel is still reeling from the murder of Lori Bray. The details emerging about her homicide are quite unsettling. While Laurel is not necessarily a tiny town anymore (14th largest city in Montana) the residents of Laurel still do a great job of supporting their neighbors and community. Like most small towns, everybody kind of knows everybody. We see each other around town, at the grocery store, high school sports or at our kids' schools.

There is a community FUNdrasier for Lori Bray, this Saturday (10/19) from 4-8 p.m. at Fat Fender Freddy's. Cocktails start at 4 p.m., a HUGE silent auction starts at 5 p.m. and a spaghetti feed dinner starts at 6 p.m.  There are activities planned for kids as well, so feel free to bring the family. Other fun stuff includes: balloon busts in the casino, jello & pudding shots, drink specials and more.

If you can't make it out to Fat Fender Freddy's on Saturday, donations are also being accepted at Altana Federal Credit Union:
