Metallica + Megadeth Combined in New Mashup ‘Fight Fire With Lungs of Hell’
YouTube mashup-meister The Taskmaster has returned to the thrash metal well for another combination of Metallica and Megadeth. The latest Megatallica mashup has been dubbed "Fight Fire With Lungs of Hell."
He blends Metallica's "Fight Fire With Fire" from 1984's Ride the Lightning with Megadeth's "Into the Lungs of Hell" from their 1988 disc So Far, So Good, So What! The Megadeth track is an instrumental, and mixes well with the Metallica song.
Other Metallica / Megadeth mashups done by The Taskmaster include "Sandman Symphony," a combination of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction;" "Welcome My Darkest Hour," a blend of "In My Darkest Hour" by Megadeth and "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" from Metallica and "Disposable Holy War Heroes," combining Metallica's "Disposable Heroes" and Megadeth's "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due."
The Taskmaster's YouTube channel features numerous other Metallica / Megadeth mashups such as "Devil's Goodbye," "Fuel 'Em" and "Wake Up Under Ice" along with combinations of other artists such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
