Mouse In The House

I rent an older home here in Billings.  The heat doesn't work, kitchen sink is forever backing up and now a mouse in the house...

Why that mouse would pick my house is beyond me.  There's no heat, he probably could have found a better place to live.

The wooden traps aren't working, this smart mouse takes the food and the traps just sits there looking pathetic, defeated, and empty.

Best way to kill this mouse?  What do you know?  What would you try next?
