On Monday, March 30th, Fathom Events will be showing a new career spanning concert film from Led Zeppelin in theaters across the country.  Sadly, it won’t be playing anywhere in the great state of Montana.

Sure, it’ll be playing in Fairbanks, Alaska, and Honolulu, Hawaii, and at 37 different theaters in Texas, but not here.  Not in little old Montana.  Which is a shame because, at least one of the theater chains located in our state, Carmike Cinemas, will be showing the Led Zeppelin movie in other states.

Maybe they think there’s just not enough Led Zeppelin fans to fill the theater.  And that might be true. But how many people are going to the movies on a Monday night in the first place?  I doubt they’re lining up to see the 7:30 p.m. showing of Kevin Costner’s new track and field movie “McFarland USA”.
