First off, this picture of George Bush is awesome. While I didn't necessarily adore him as a president, I would take Bush II back in a second. Funny picture aside, according to a story from CNN and printed in the Missoulian today, the Anti-Defamation League has now added the "ok" finger sign to its register of hate symbols.

GTFOH. Since the early 1800's the "okay" symbol has meant exactly that... that things are going alright, just fine, good, agree.  Not anymore. Now you've got to be extra careful if you flash the okay symbol... you might just be showing your support for White Power.

This ridiculousness started out as a hoax joke on 4chan trolling hate groups and has apparently been adopted by those same hate groups as one of their symbols they flash at rallies or at one of their top-secret hate group meetings. You can read the story about the OK symbol's adoption by these ugly organizations here.

I'm sorry. I don't have a racist bone in my body. And I will not stop using the okay symbol when things are A-O-K in my world.  What's next, the peace symbol?
