To help support flood victims throughout Montana, Pizza Hut restaurants throughout Montana will host a fundraising event Wednesday, June 8th from open to close. For all dine-in, carryout and delivery orders on this day, 10 percent of sales will go to benefit the local Red Cross to assist the victims of the impacted communities. Every Pizza Hut restaurant in Montana will participate in the event.

After witnessing firsthand the lives, homes and businesses that were devastated by the flooding throughout Montana, Pizza Hut owners, operators and employees knew they had to do something to help. “Through this fundraiser, we can hopefully make a difference for our neighbors affected by the storms and provide our customers with an opportunity to help contribute to the relief efforts,” says Hal McCoy II, Chief Executive Officer of Restaurant Management Company who owns and operates 16 restaurants with 360 employees in Montana.  Our fellow franchisee Kent Colvin, President of High Plains Pizza has very graciously joined with us in this effort.  High Plains Pizza is locally owned and operated with 24 stores and 550 employees.  “Pizza Hut has been operating in Montana for 41 years and we want to support our communities”, said Colvin.

Getting involved in the event is easy. Simply place an order at any Pizza Hut restaurant in Montana on Wednesday, June 8th, and 10 percent of your bill – whether you dine in or eat at home – will go toward the Local Red Cross in Montana.

“We are grateful that so many Pizza Hut employees have already gotten behind this event and thank those in the community who plan to participate,” says Colvin.
