Ryan Paul Walter was a happy and healthy baby in October 2010 when his life was cut short at 2 months by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), an affliction that claims the lives of over 2,000 otherwise healthy babies that leaves families devastated and medical professionals confounded.
Scheels Run for Ryan raises money for the SIDS Institute which helps lead the charge toward finding an answer for SIDS. The goal is lofty, but simple: to help prevent any other family from having to go through the loss that Ryan Walters family still feels.
The race is this Sunday at Scheels at Shiloh Crossing
