Lemmy Kilmister is going into the history books as the Motörhead frontman has had a prehistoric crocodile named after him in his home country of England.
A new Lemmy Kilmister mural on the side of the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles now overlooks Lemmy's Lounge and statue at the neighboring Rainbow Bar and Grill.
There's no doubt that Metallica love Motorhead, and now there's some additional video footage to prove it. Back in 1995, the Metallica members, decked out in long black-haired wigs, took the stage at Los Angeles' Whisky-a-Go-Go to play a set of Motorhead songs in honor of Lemmy Kilmister's 50th birthday. Now, the famous venue has just posted video from the performance on YouTube.
